Item completely crushed like someone sat on it box the item was in ruined, box was sent in standard plastic mailing pouch no padding or protection Yes, the item was sent inside a box which was then placed inside a padded pouch. That is double protection for the actual item. I cannot secure an item beyond that, and cannot control how the postal service handles items. That’s why there is insurance on these packages so that if items do actually get damaged, we can hold them responsible for it.
