I picked up a brand new Wilson XD putter during the auction for $44 plus shipping. After receiving it, I found that the club typically retails for around $28, which left me feeling a bit misled.
I understand auctions can vary in price depending on the moment, but I do feel like more transparency around the retail/value of the item would have helped buyers make a more informed decision. It wasn’t clearly communicated during the stream.
The putter itself is fine and in new condition as described, but the pricing versus value was disappointing. I’ve had many positive experiences on WhatNot, so I’m hoping sellers can be more upfront in the future to keep things fair for buyers. Good quality free hat in the giveaway, much appreciated!
