This vintage solid brass belt buckle is a fantastic piece of mid-century trucking memorabilia representing the Campbell Sixty-Six Express trucking company out of Springfield, Missouri. The front of the buckle features a highly detailed, raised-relief design showcasing the company's famous mascot, "Snortin' Norton," a speeding camel with the number "66" emblazoned on his hump. It reads "Campbell Express Inc." across the top and features their iconic company slogan, "Humpin' to Please," boldly across the bottom, all framed by an intricate, patterned border. The back of the buckle is fully stamped with official copyright details, reading: "Snortin' Norton Sez: 'Keep on Humpin''" along with a boxed trademark statement confirming exclusive manufacturing rights by arrangement with Campbell Express Inc. It includes a heavy-duty brass loop and prong, shows an alphanumeric serial marker "A-96," and a round maker's mark stamp near the base.
