Early 1960’s Seiko Cronos diashock 21 jewels On new brown genuine leather band w/ gold buckle Appears to have Original case back (based on the reference number . I Polished and revived the case / crystal as best i could. Running and driving Wrist ready 43.8 lug to lug x 38.7 crown to case * Dial: Original with attractive silver sunburst finish, but moderate moisture spotting around 4–6 o’clock. Noticeable patina * Case: Appears to retain sharp lugs with only light wear. * Hands and markers: Original and in good condition. History : The Seiko Cronos line was introduced in the late 1950s as one of Seiko’s premium hand-wound dress watch families for the Japanese domestic market. It sat above many entry-level Seikos and featured: * In-house Seikosha manual-wind movements * Diashock shock protection (Seiko’s equivalent to Incabloc) * High jewel counts (typically 21 or 23 jewels) * Slim, elegant dress-watch cases * Excellent finishing for the era
