Antique Art Nouveau EPNS Silver-Plated Toast Rack - Great for Butter Pats! Originally designed in 18th-century Britain, a traditional toast rack keeps freshly made toast slices upright and separated. This allows steam to escape so the bread stays crisp rather than going soggy. It can be repurposed to hold coasters, butter pats, or ephemera. Lovely, quality silverplate with maker's mark as pictured in second image. In excellent condition with nice patina and will polish up beautifully. Measuring 16.5cm W x 14cm H (including handle).
