Striking vintage early plastic brooch with an incredible braided/knot design in glossy teal, red, deep navy/purple and creamy yellow. The intertwined dimensional strands give it a wonderful candy-striped, sculptural look that absolutely pops. Back has an old-style long pin stem with C clasp. Exact plastic composition is unknown/unconfirmed. Wonderful statement piece for an Art Deco, early plastic, colorful vintage jewelry or novelty brooch collection. Vintage/preowned condition with visible age, surface wear and discoloration/residue, especially within the braided areas and on the reverse. Hardware shows age/patina.
