4.25 " tall x 3.75" diameter. Handcrafted in Japan. 1960's. Crazing. This mustache "beer" mug was designed with a wide opening to accommodate a mustache or facial hair. The guard inside the mug was to allow men to drink cold or hot beverages without soaking their facial hair. The one side is a scene of men drinking and the other side is a deer in the forest scene. Very beautifully glaze piece. See last two pictures to what appears to be a white chip, but is not. It is glazed over. Also, on the handle it appears to be a repair but is all glazed over. My thought it's all factory done. A conversational piece for sure. Beautiful.
