My favourites are the 1940s gold-gilded brass filigrees and florals, post-WWII Japanese recession era pressed silk cotton beads (so much history in these!), Japanese glass baroque pearls, Bohemian crystal beads, Czech uranium glass, rhinestone cup chains, West Germany milk glass… ohhh, there’s just SO much to list! 😄 If you’re a vintage bead collector, a vintage designer jewelry restorer, a jewelry maker who loves creating with superior quality designer vintage beads and metal findings, or even a vintage jewelry book author looking for specific samples you’re in the perfect spot at AlwaysADeal4U! I’ve been perfectly paired with these shows for a year now, and I’ve found some absolutely amazing vintage treasures from the 1930s all the way through the 1970s!
If you love the real vintage stuff, the quality, the history, and the thrill of the hunt, this is definitely a place to watch. ❤️ Russ is the bead king on whatnot and has beads you will never find anywhere else. The shows are great and the chat is almost as good as the beads 😝 Watching the shows is like going on a treasure hunt!! This box was especially fun because it was so diverse - everything from seed beads and gorgeous filigree metal beads to metal filigree buttons and Japanese and Czech glass... all vintage of course! Guys, this is NOT just a collection of random leftovers from somebody's grandma's attic. Everything I received was of super high quality. Russ is also consistently wonderful to buy from - knowlegable, generous, and clearly someone who appreciates these pieces and wants them to go to someone who will enjoy them. However there was one buyer that was buying everything up so it was hard to bid against and they won most of the time. Maybe it would be better to do a private bundle sale when that happens?
