I don’t need to be reminded of breast cancer. I have been fighting it since 2018. In that time I have fought 12 different masses, from a breast. To a shoulder to a hip, to my tail bone, to my spine. My hip looks like Swiss cheese, my spine has had 5 different masses, my shoulder is steel and plaster. I live with cancer daily, the chemo, the side effects, the physical toll. I don’t need to be reminded I know for every mass I beat the next one is around the corner. I will never get to ring that bell. I will never win the war the best I can do is fight each mass as it rears its ugly fly head.
