This listing is for a stunning Georgian memorial ring. It is inscribed on the back: H Prescot Obt - at St. Thomas March 16, 1807 AE 23 years. It tests at 10k. It appears to have been enlarged at some point but definitely not in recent years. It appears to be an older resizing (see pictures). There is a small nick on the back perhaps where the gold may have been tested at some point, in my opinion not a big deal (see pictures). There is hair under the glass on the front of the ring with the initals FPC. The condition is immaculate for a ring of this age. It is currently a size 9.5.
