This striking vintage cobalt blue child's alphabet plate was manufactured by the Westmoreland Glass Company. It features a beautifully detailed, hand-painted Mary Gregory style scene in the center, depicting a young girl on a tree swing alongside her dog. The artwork is hand-signed by renowned Westmoreland decorator L. Plues in white enamel script near the bottom of the image. The outer rim showcases a classic molded bead design framing raised uppercase letters from A to Z, separated by an ampersand and a dash. The rich, vibrant blue glass remains highly translucent and in excellent vintage condition, presenting beautifully for collectors. Measures just over 7 inches wide.
