Vintage 9-piece lot of pictorial lace textile remnants featuring a wonderful assortment of novelty and scenic motifs, including heraldic angels blowing horns, ducks, lighthouse and sailboat scenes, cottages, barns, pastoral designs, and an Easter bunny motif. Approximate Measurements: Largest angel panel: 64" wide × 19" long Two duck motif squares: 15" × 15" each Remaining pieces vary in size and fall between these measurements Mixed vintage lace remnants believed to date primarily from approximately the 1930s through 1970s, with individual pieces possibly somewhat earlier or later. The assortment includes different styles and constructions of machine-made pictorial lace typical of decorative household textiles from the early to mid-20th century. Most pieces are ivory or cream. One piece is white—the long angel panel shown across the top of the main photo. It appears slightly bluish in some photographs due to the outdoor lighting, but the actual color is white. The intact pictorial motifs make these especially appealing for creative reuse. Individual designs could be cut out and used for appliqué, textile art, framing, sewing, needlework, altered clothing, bridal projects, cottagecore décor, mixed-media art, or countless other craft projects. Some pieces have a softer hand while others are somewhat firmer or more heavily sized/starched. Condition: Very good to excellent vintage condition overall with no obvious major flaws noted. These are remnants and therefore have cut, unfinished, or irregular outer edges from their previous use. The decorative motifs themselves remain attractive and highly usable.
