Vintage Everyware clear glass candlestick/candleholder, made in Mexico and dating to approximately the 1990s. This is a substantial piece of decorative glass, standing approximately 12 inches tall and weighing 5 lb. 4 oz. The sculptural design consists of three stacked rounded sections covered with deeply formed circular bullseye or dimple motifs. The varying thickness of the clear glass creates wonderful optical distortion, reflections and movement as the piece is viewed from different angles. The upper portion flares into a broad candle cup, while the bottom rests on a substantial circular foot. The underside retains its original blue “Everyware – Made in Mexico” marking. Everyware is documented as a 1990s pottery, crystal and glassware supplier whose merchandise was sold through retailers including Pottery Barn and Gump's. This piece itself is not being represented as specifically purchased from Pottery Barn; the retailer information is included only as historical background on the Everyware company.
