Vintage ceramic marmalade jar/crock produced for Frank Cooper Ltd. (Oxford, England). Features the "Ye Olden Days" transferware scene around the body and on the matching lid, depicting historical English figures, a horse-drawn carriage, and half-timbered architecture. The underside of the lid is stamped "FRANK COOPER LTD. OXFORD - ENGLAND". Measures approximately 4.25" tall with the lid on and 3.5" in diameter. Condition: Vintage condition with age-appropriate wear. Fine overall crazing to the glaze and discolored staining/spotting typical for vintage English stoneware jam crocks. No major chips or cracks observed.
