Mellinda 'Mel' Hansen-Holloway lives along the Haw River in Saxapahaw, NC, with her family and critters. Art From The Heart is a division of Cercle De La Croix, LLC. The goal for Art From The Heart is to make good, original art easy to access and fun. Mel's business model requires her to sell a lot of art at very reasonable prices. Most of the work is sold at local farmer's/ maker's markets in the Piedmont of NC, so there is a lot of turnover. Her art is based upon NC places, people and native animals. She also piants domestic or fantasy animals. Mel's style is "impressionistic realism," or abstract, based upon her mood.
