Josiah C Hill-Meyer (aka M3istro) began teaching himself music production in 2009 in Eugene, Oregon. His music is inspired by artists such as Emancipator, STS9, Clozee, Beats Antique, Pretty Lights, Dr.Fresh, and many others. M3istro is an artist who works in a variety of media. His sound has been described as a fusion of Melodic Dubstep, Liquid Drum & Bass, Trip hop, House, and many other different genres of electronic music. This fusion opens a unique poetic vein. Multilayered soundscapes arise in which the fragility and instability of our seemingly certain reality is questioned. His mixed media artworks appear as dreamlike sounds and images in which fiction and reality meet, well-known tropes merge, meanings shift, and past and present fuse. His music can be found on Pandora radio, Spotify, SoundCloud, Apple Music, and many other platforms.
