Mooser Fabrics was born from a simple idea: combine a lifelong love of sewing with a family legacy that spans more than 60 years — and name it after the Shiba Inu who brings joy to our home every day. Our shop is proudly named after Moose, our Shiba, whose nickname “Mooser” quickly became part of our family vocabulary. When it came time to choose a name for the store, nothing felt more fitting.A Family Tradition, Three Generations StrongFabric isn’t just something we sell — it’s part of our family history.My grandfather began it all with a sewing factory decades ago, building a reputation for craftsmanship and quality. My uncle followed in his footsteps and has spent more than 30 years in the sewing and textile industry, carrying forward the same dedication to the craft.Growing up around fabric, patterns, and the hum of sewing machines shaped my appreciation for the art of making. It’s in my blood, and it’s a legacy I’m proud to continue.From Hospitality to HandmadeBefore launching Mooser Fabrics, I spent many years as a hotel general manager, where I learned the true meaning of exceptional service.
