Vintage 1999 Ardleigh Elliot Heirloom Porcelain Musical Trinket Box. This beautiful little box is the premier edition in the "Mother's Love" collection. The Sankyo music box built into the lid plays "Always" and the box is a gift from Mother to Daughter. It measures 2 1/2" high and is 2 7/8" in diameter. Handpainted on pure white porcelain, there are vertical red stripes & pink bands with tiny red roses and gold accents, all around the sides of the box. The lid has a raised relief pink ribbon and the edges are pink with red roses and green leaves. The inside top of the lid is pink velvet with the music box winding key. Inside the bottom "Always my Daughter, Now Too My Friend" is painted in gold script. The bottom is stamped in gold with the company name, piece info and model #73591 as well as the number of this specific piece. It is in perfect mint condition with no damage or signs of wear and the music plays perfectly. Wonderful gift and keepsake for a special daughter.
