Super RARE vintage Donald Stannard Cleopatra necklace done in a heavy, bright gold plate. It features nine rows made of individual squares, five rows have large textured squares, and they alternate with four narrow rows of shiny, smooth squares. The effect is truly magical. This spectacular necklace fastens with a secure, large hidden box clasp. It is a bold statement piece from a designer who was Kenneth J. Lane's assistant from 1968-1972, and then went on to design for television and Broadway shows through the 90's. Marked: Unsigned, missing the Donald Stannard signature plaque as seen in the last picture of the exact necklace SIGNED found online. (This on is UNSIGNED... last picture for reference only!) Measurements: 16.5" around the neck, 2.5" wide, weighs 268g (9.3oz) Condition: Beautiful vintage condition. No visible wear to the gold plated finish that I see.
