SILVER ATOCHA SHIP WRECK COIN Mintage only 100 This is a 2022 Atocha 400th Anniversary 1oz Silver Round, designed by coin artist Daniel Carr and struck at his private Moonlight Mint. Design: The side shown features the Spanish Pillars of Hercules, a crowned lion, and the "8" denomination, reflecting the classic 8 Reales "Piece of Eight" Composition: .999 Fine Silver (indicated by the Ag 999 stamp on the right side of the design) It was created to mark the 400th anniversary of the 1622 sinking of the Nuestra Señora de Atocha. Carr produced a number of pieces marking the 1622 treasure wreck of the “Nuestra Señora de la Atocha.”
