This pair of striking vintage Navajo-made sterling silver watch tips transforms a classic Timex watch into a bold piece of wearable Southwestern art. The watch tips feature a dramatic shadowbox design accented with twist wire borders and large domed turquoise cabochons set horizontally in the east-west direction. Attached is a vintage Timex watch case and the original vintage stainless steel stretch band. Unhallmarked, as is common for vintage Native American jewelry, this piece is both functional and highly collectible with timeless Southwestern character. Condition Note: the attachment tube on the upper side of the watch case was split in the back where it met the watch tip so I had the area repaired by a Navajo silversmith. He repaired the tube and placed a rectangular block of sterling silver behind the watch tip to reinforce the area. He felt the other watch tip was secure and did not need the additional reinforcement.
