Product Details
This sterling silver pin or pendant by Navajo silversmith Darrin Livingston beautifully captures the grace and symbolism of the dragonfly in a striking handcrafted design. The dragonfly's wings and tail are richly decorated with repoussé work, traditional stampwork, and sterling silver raindrop accents that add wonderful depth and texture. At the heart of the piece is a gorgeous Hubei turquoise cabochon displaying brilliant shades of blue and green with a dramatic dark matrix, bezel set within a finely detailed hashmarked border. Designed for versatility, the piece features both a vertical pin backing and a shepherd's hook behind the dragonfly's head, allowing it to be worn as either a pin or an enhancer on beads or a paperclip chain. Hallmarked D. Livingston Sterling in script, this exceptional piece is a wonderful example of contemporary Navajo artistry and craftsmanship. PLEASE NOTE: the 6mm sterling silver burnished beads by Marilyn Platero are NOT included in this purchase.
