This beautiful sterling silver statement ring by the talented Navajo-trained Apache artist Rosella Paxton showcases a bold and romantic design centered around a striking heart-shaped lapis lazuli stone. The lapis displays a rich cobalt blue color accented with a natural yellow pyrite matrix, giving the stone wonderful depth and character. It is bezel set and framed with a dotted border that adds texture and definition. Graduated clusters of five starshots adorn both the top and bottom of the setting, creating balance and visual interest. A solid triple shank band completes the look, providing both presence and comfort. Stamped RP STERLING on the lower back of the setting, this ring is a standout example of contemporary Native silversmithing.
