This beautiful vintage mid-century ceramic vase imported by Ucagco China was hand-painted in Japan and stands approximately eight inches tall. It features a striking, unique bulbous base paired with a layered, tiered telescoping neck accented with fine gold trim lines and a decorative gold-sponged rim. The front is decorated with a vibrant transferware pattern of purple violet flowers and deep green leaves against a crisp white porcelain background. It is an exquisite decorative piece perfect for mid-century modern home decor, cottagecore aesthetic displays, or antique porcelain collectors. The vase is in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or surface crazing. PLEASE NOTE: there is one small spot of missing glaze near one rim that is a minor, native manufacturing oversight from production rather than post-factory damage. It is entirely unnoticeable in its upright display position and does not detract from the integrity or beauty. Shown in last picture.
