This is an outstanding example of an original Gruen manual-wind mechanical watch from 1920-21. It features a Gruen Guild 15 jewel movement marked "Gruen Guild M Switzerland" and bearing the serial number 1433556. The lack of an import code indicates that it was a Swiss import before 1936. It is extremely clean and currently running well, but service history is unknown. As with all antique watches of this type, it would likely benefit from a full service. The entire watch shows beautiful patina consistent with age but no outstanding flaws. Review pictures and listing thoroughly, and ask questions if need be. SOLD AS-IS.
