One-of-a-kind natural vanadinite. You will receive a piece similar to those shown. Size: 41.9 g (sizes vary) Vanadinite is a lead chlorovanadate mineral that forms in the oxidized zones of lead ore deposits. It develops when lead minerals such as galena react with vanadium-bearing solutions during weathering processes. Its red to orange color is caused by vanadium within the crystal structure. These specimens typically display hexagonal prismatic crystals with a bright luster, often forming clustered or drusy formations on matrix. Each item is unique in shape, color, and pattern. Higher-grade pieces are selected first. Photos represent overall quality and appearance. Fragile: Vanadinite is a brittle mineral and should be handled with care.
