Size: 36.4 mm (sizes vary) K2 jasper is a granite-based rock composed primarily of quartz and feldspar with distinct inclusions of azurite. It forms when granitic rock undergoes hydrothermal processes that introduce copper-rich fluids, allowing azurite to crystallize within the stone. The white and grey granite base contrasts with bright blue azurite spots, which are caused by copper carbonate mineralization. This pendant features a polished surface that highlights the stone’s natural speckled pattern, set in sterling silver. Each item is unique in shape, color, and pattern.
