This is vintage Alva Studios authorized plaster reproduction of the "Motherhood" sculpture by Bessie Potter Vonnoh. Artist: Bessie Potter Vonnoh (1872–1955). Depicts a Victorian-era mother holding a baby with two young children standing beside her. While the original is bronze, this piece is an authorized reproduction made of plaster or "Alvastone". This reproduction is 17.5 inches in height. Has some minor chips of paint missing but no cracks. Overall, in fair to good condition. Copyright 1982.
