A substantial 19th-century Irish history volume drawn from native annals and the work of major Irish scholars including O’Donovan, Eugene Curry, C. P. Meehan, and R. R. Madden, with engraved title page and historical illustrations. Haverty was an Irish journalist and historian, and this work became one of his best-known contributions to Irish historical writing. This copy includes institutional markings from Fordham University Library at Lincoln Center and is bound in a later plain green cloth binding.
