Pearce was a major Free Methodist bishop, born in Cornwall, England in 1862, later coming to America and serving as a Free Methodist minister for 61 years and bishop for 39 years. This book is a scarce collection of his sermons on Christ, and later Free Methodist history notes that Our Incarnate Lord had gone out of print.
