This wonderful sterling silver Native-made pendant was created by the talented team of Buffalo Dancer from Taos Pueblo, New Mexico, and features a bold and striking Native American chief profile design rendered in solid silver. Richly sculptural and substantial in weight, the pendant showcases the artistry and craftsmanship that have made Buffalo Dancer's work so admired among collectors of Southwestern jewelry. The generously sized ribbed bail accommodates beads up to 10 millimeters in diameter, making it easy to pair with a favorite strand of silver beads or stone necklaces. Purchased directly from the artists, this pendant carries an especially meaningful connection, as artist Duane Hopper shared that the design originated with his father.
