Before Avon sold skin care on Facebook, they were convincing ladies they absolutely needed fancy powder jars like this sitting on the vanity. This vintage Persian Wood Beauty Dust container has a rich ruby red glass base paired with its original gold-tone lid and floral finial. The powder is long gone, but the glamour stuck around. Today it makes a fabulous jewelry box, dresser catch-all, or hiding place for all the tiny things that mysteriously disappear when you actually need them. Measures about 5½ inches across. A fun piece of vintage vanity decor that still knows how to make an entrance.
