Up for sale is a beautiful, highly collectible 1960s Mid-Century Modern enamelware casserole pot manufactured by Cathrineholm of Norway. This piece features the iconic "Lotus" pattern in a vibrant retro orange and white colorway, originally designed by Grete Prytz Kittelsen with the pattern by Arne Clausen. This compact size is highly sought after by collectors for stacking and kitchen display.Includes: Original pot, matching orange lid with stainless steel saucer knob, and chrome wire bale carry handle.Good vintage condition. The orange exterior glaze remains glossy and incredibly vibrant. The white interior is clean and bright with light utensil scuffs and two tiny "flea-bite" nicks to the enamel on the base (pictured with a dime for scale). The matching lid has one distinct enamel chip on the top surface that exposes the dark base iron metal. The bottom shows typical stove-top scuffing from past use. Fully structurally intact and ready for display or use.
