What truly sets this piece apart is the highly desirable, fancy fluted pedestal foot on the teacup, intricately detailed with scalloped edges and a brilliant gold gilt trim.Markings: The bottom of the teacup features the classic Lefton crown mark insignia along with the original red and gold foil identification sticker ("Lefton's Reg. U.S. Pat. Off. Exclusive Japan").Very good vintage condition. No chips or cracks. There is very minor, expected vintage wear/rubbing to the gold gilt on the handle or rim, consistent with age and gentle handling (see photos)
