Late Victorian copper coal scuttle featuring a hand-formed copper body with soldered seam, cast brass lion mask mounts, brass claw feet, pierced rear handle, and turned hardwood swing handle. Measures approximately 13–14 inches long, 9 inches wide, and 12½ inches high at the spout. Displays an attractive aged patina and wear consistent with age and use. A handsome antique fireplace accessory that also works well as decorative hearth décor or a planter.
