Back plate measures 8.5"" tall x 5.75" horse head out from the wall. Made in it. Two holes for hanging. This very nice equestrian wall decor features a solid brass back plate with a raised decorative floral design motif on the front and a horse head mounted on the front of the plate. The horse's face and neck are very detailed in a realistic design with a hook for hanging small items like keys attached under the horse's neck and bridle. ** Notice on the brass backplate stamped "Mod Dep." This is a european legal abbreviation, meaning "Registered Design." It serves as a purpose similar to a "Design Patent" commonly used from 1950's- 1970's.
