Product Details

5.75" diameter x 4" tall. 1980's. Made for Teleflora and handpainted in Portugal. Features a fluted ceramic mold with vibrant colors of a folk art pattern of florals, including the colors of green, red, orange, and yellow on an off-white background. ** Note that there are lots of beautiful, crazy and staining. No chips or cracks. Hangs for display. **Fun Fact:** In 1979, Teleflora shifted from the basic glass utility vases to highly practical collectible keepsakes. In 1934, Telegraph delivery service was founded. The company originally focused on basic wire service model, where local florist assembled standard bouquets in uninspired clear glass utility vases. Then in 1979, Lynda Resnick took over marketing where she invented "Flowers-in-a Gift" marketing strategy. Where containers could be used for other purposes and not just flowers or throwaways.**
