Beautiful vintage mid-century pair of ceramic Pheasant Salt and Pepper Shakers, thought to be made by Norcrest (Japan). This collectible set features a vibrant male ringneck pheasant and a beautifully detailed female hen. A unique feature of this specific set is the factory hole placement, which is cleanly drilled directly into the front breast of the birds (3 holes for the male, 6 holes for the female). Measurements: - Male Pheasant: Approx. 2 3/4" Tall x 5" Long - Female Pheasant: Approx. 2 1/4" Tall x 4" Long Condition: Excellent vintage pre-owned condition! There are no chips, cracks, or flea bites visible. The paint remains bright, and both pieces retain their original "Japan" gold foil stickers on the bottom alongside the stamped mold number H829. Both include their original plastic stoppers.
