Authentic antique German salt-glazed Seltzers mineral water bottle from Nassau, Germany, dating to the late 1800s (circa 1870–1895). Features the embossed Prussian eagle seal with portions of the original Nassau Selters lettering and an impressed Nr. 72 production mark. These stoneware bottles were used to ship Germany’s famous naturally carbonated mineral water around the world and remain highly collectible today. Condition: Honest antique condition with expected age-related wear and patina. Original handle is intact. The bottle has several small chips around the rim, scattered glaze and body chips from use, and moderate wear to the embossed seal. No obvious cracks noted. A wonderful display piece for collectors of antique bottles, German stoneware, primitives, or advertising memorabilia.
