Striking galena and quartz specimen from Mina Recuerdo, Huallanca, Peru. Bright metallic-gray galena crystals rise prominently from a contrasting bed of white quartz, creating a sharp two-tone display. The galena shows strong metallic luster with well-defined geometric crystal faces, including several prominent crystals positioned across the top and front of the specimen. The fine white quartz matrix provides excellent contrast and gives the piece a clean, highly displayable appearance despite its compact size.
