Bright metallic chalcopyrite from the Casteel Mine near Bixby in Iron County, Missouri. This attractive specimen features rich brassy-gold chalcopyrite distributed across a sparkling gray drusy matrix, producing excellent contrast under direct lighting. The chalcopyrite is particularly concentrated along one end of the specimen, with additional metallic mineralization scattered throughout the matrix. A very displayable Missouri locality piece with plenty of flash for its size.
