Vintage Mexican alpaca silver cuff bracelet featuring colorful abalone shell inlay set within an open heart design. The abalone has beautiful natural flashes of turquoise blue, green, lavender, pink and silvery gray that shift with the light. The bracelet has an unusual open framework with three bands, including a twisted wire accent through the center. The sculptural heart motif gives it a distinctive vintage Mexican folk jewelry look. Marked HECHO EN MEXICO. Constructed of alpaca silver, also commonly called Mexican silver or German silver. Alpaca silver is a silver colored metal alloy and is not sterling silver. Measures approximately 5 3/8 inches around the inside with a 1 1/8 inch opening, for approximately 6 1/2 inches total circumference. The decorative face measures approximately 1 inch wide. Vintage preowned condition with surface wear, oxidation and patina consistent with age. The abalone has natural variations and irregularities. Please review photos closely.
