Vintage Joe Weider 5 Minute Body Shaper Plan / Total Body Shaper home exercise system from the 1970s. A fantastic piece of old-school fitness history featuring classic Joe Weider and "Body by Betty" graphics. Includes the original rope-and-pulley resistance exercise apparatus, instruction booklet, and original illustrated box. The system was designed for a series of resistance exercises targeting the arms, chest, waist and legs. Period advertising for the Body Shaper dates to at least 1973–1975. Great collectible for a vintage gym, bodybuilding collection, retro fitness display, photo prop, or 1970s memorabilia collection. Condition: Pre-owned vintage condition. Exercise apparatus shows age/use but appears intact as pictured. Instruction booklet has age-related wear. Original box has significant wear, including crushing, creases, tears, edge/corner wear, scuffing and old tape/tape repairs.
