Antique Ogden's Walnut Plug Sliced tobacco pocket tin, circa 1920s-1930s, issued by the Imperial Tobacco Co. of Great Britain & Ireland. Measures approximately 3.25 x 2.25 inches and originally held 2 ounces. Features colorful blue and ochre lithographed advertising with a large walnut graphic and hinged lid. Empty vintage tobacco container with original advertising intact. Excellent piece of British tobacciana, general store advertising, or early packaging history for a tin collection or display. Lid graphics remain attractive and clearly readable with scattered scratches, spotting, edge wear and surface discoloration. Gold-tone body shows scratches, dark marks, finish loss and oxidation, particularly around edges and corners. Interior has normal scratching, discoloration and residue from past use.
