Pair of vintage 1950s anthropomorphic turnip/beet/radish characters salt and pepper shakers. *Era: 1950s (Mid-Century Japan) *​Markings: Stamped "JAPAN" in blue cold paint on the bottom of one shaker. *​Size: Measures approximately 2.5 inches tall. ​Condition: Good vintage condition with vibrant original paint and glaze. Light manufacturing glaze imperfections and minor age-related wear present consistent with age. One shaker retains its original cork stopper; the other shaker is missing its stopper.
