A substantial set of naturally aged antlers is mounted on a rich red velvet-covered shield and rectangular wood plaque for a classic 1970s hunting lodge look. The reverse is hand inscribed “Shot in 1972” along with “195 pounds,” providing wonderful original history and provenance. This is a 7 point rack with attractive natural coloration, texture and age-related character. The velvet and wooden plaque show expected vintage wear, and there is visible age/wear around the antler mounting areas. Please review all photographs closely for condition.
