This set features a unique and unusual manufacturing design where each bird body unscrews directly from its pedestal base to fill/empty. *Origin: Made in Japan (Stamped in red ink on the bottom of both bases). *​Design: Bright green and yellow bodies with delicate hand-painted black and yellow eyes, pink beaks, and green trim around the pedestal rims. *​Manufacturing Detail: Features internal threaded ceramic bases—a unique vintage construction style. ​Condition: Fair to Good Vintage Condition. Light surface crazing throughout, typical of aged Japanese porcelain. As shown in Picture #7, each bird has one paint chip (one on the crest/head area of the singing/head-up bird, and one on the wing of the looking-down bird).
