Ancient Roman Imperial antoninianus of Emperor Probus, who ruled AD 276–282. Silvered bronze/billon issue with radiate portrait of Probus on the obverse. Reverse features the CLEMENTIA TEMP type depicting Probus standing and receiving a globe/Victory from Jupiter. Approximately 21 mm diameter and 3.1 grams. Portions of the original silvered appearance remain visible. Nice surviving portrait, legends and reverse figures for a coin over 1,700 years old. Uncleaned/untreated by me.
