Authentic 1783 Mo FF Mexico 2 Reales silver coin recovered from the legendary El Cazador shipwreck and certified GENUINE by NGC Shipwreck Certification. Struck at the Mexico City Mint during the reign of Charles III. El Cazador sank in 1784 while carrying Spanish colonial silver intended for Louisiana and was not discovered until nearly 200 years later. This example shows genuine saltwater/shipwreck surface effects while retaining the Charles III portrait, 1783 date and Spanish crowned-arms reverse.
