This is an authentic vintage Royal Doulton "Henry VIII" large character jug / Toby mug (D6642), modeled by Eric J. Griffiths and issued in 1975 in Staffordshire, England. The piece depicts the Tudor monarch King Henry VIII in full regal attire, wearing a black feathered hat, ruffled collar, and gold-trimmed maroon tunic, with an architectural castle tower forming the handle. The underside features the full Royal Doulton lion-and-crown backstamp, model number D6642, and copyright date. Measures approximately 6 1/2 to 7 inches tall.
